Introduction: Glenara Charismatic (Finn) is a fabulous young horse with the world at his feet. By Cera Carisma out of Glenara Question Mark, Finn has already competed successfully in showjumping, is established on the flat and has proven himself to be reliable, trainable and sound. He is ideal for a rider seeking a no-fuss, kind and competitive horse for a variety of disciplines.
Education, skills and experience: Finn was purchased directly from his breeder and has been owned by his rider since he was a six year old weanling. He has predominantly been ridden predominantly by her, when she was a teenager through to young adult amateur.
He has also been used in lessons for beginners and novice riders. He is a pleasure to ride - he always aims to please, doesn’t rush and isn’t lazy. Finn is established on the flat in line with his age and willingly collects. He would produce a very sweet prelim level dressage test.
Finn has competed successfully from 80-100cm over the last two years and is training 105. He is honest and brave - he willingly jumps anything from planks to brick walls and water. Finn is tolerant of the occasional ‘miss’ and a rider who lacks the perfect eye for a distance. He has scope, is adjustable and responsive. When competing, Finn often placed at shows and events.
General demeanor under saddle: Finn is as honest as the day is long. He is a lovely horse to ride. Finn has a fun, eager to please personality and always tries his best.
Finn is not worried by farm life, trucks, tractors, mowers, cattle and dogs. He is willing and happy to ride out on his own, even on trails and roads. Finn is completely unfazed by sideshows, fireworks and the nonsense of Ag Shows, farm life, pets and children in his vicinity.
Current workload/ fitness: Finn not in work and his price reflects this. He does not need regular riding to be safe but may have a play on the lunge after a spell. Once the rider hops on, he is perfectly well behaved.
Handling and general behaviour: Finn is easy to catch, saddle, groom, wash, travel (load, float, unload), shoe, and handle for veterinary or dental care. Finn is a fuss free bloke who takes everything in his stride.
Feeding and management: Finn is an easy doer, tough and easy care.
Medical history: Finn does not have any medical or management issues. His owners are happy for potential buyers to do a full vetting.
Rider Suitability: Finn has a heart of gold and will continue to thrive with a kind capable rider.
Reason for sale: Finn is very reluctantly for sale as his rider does not have any time to ride. He is very much loved and only for sale to the best of homes.
