Introduction: Minnie’s sale presents an opportunity to purchase a Gold Awarded Hanoverian foal from one of the best mare families in Australia. She is bred to excel with the bloodlines, conformation, temperament and talent to make it at the top level.
Minnie is a beautiful young horse - grey/ black with a very pretty face and an elegant body - she is suited to showing as well as dressage. She is a beautiful straight forward youngster, who will have enough talent for a professional rider but the temperament to excel with a capable junior or amateur rider.
Bloodlines: Minnie is by Remi Braveheart who was the Willinga 4 y/o Champion Young Horse in November 2025 with scores of up to 86.8%. Braveheart was also awarded a Gold Medal by the Hanoverian Society last month!
(Bon Coeur/EM Remi Destinys Child by De Niro) Black | 170cm | Licensed Hanoverian Stallion.
An exciting modern 4yo Hanoverian stallion from the successful Champion family of Elite Mare Remi Destiny's Child by De Niro/Lanthan. William’s outstanding first crop of foals produced 3 Gold and 4 Silver foals including: Champion Hanoverian Foal 2025 (Remi Bojangles); Champion Hanoverian Colt 2025 (Remi Bojangles) and Champion Hanoverian Filly 2025 (Remi Bootylicious).
However, a successful stallion is only as good as his performance career and William is absolutely outstanding - crowned Champion 4yo Young Horse Willinga CDI 2025; Champion 4yo Young Horse Sydney CDI 2025 and NSW Champion 4 year old Young Horse 2025. William is showing amazing trainability and is a very exciting addition to Australian breeding.
Minnie’s dam is the outstanding Sandro Hit/Royal Diamond mare, Elite Mare, Remi Sunset Boulevard. She is an outstanding daughter of the legendary Sandro Hit, successfully completing her Mare Performance Test in 2009 with an overall score of 7.82 with scores of 8 for both paces and rideability.
Remi Sunset Boulevard has been an outstanding broodmare, and following colic surgery whilst pregnant 2 years ago, progeny from her is now limited, and only produced through ET. Awarded Champion Hanoverian Family in 2023, she has produced a family of outstanding competition horses including Remi Fishers Ghost, Remi First Class, Remi Forget Me Not, Remi Furst Hit, Remi Fuerstin Hit - all champions in their respective classes including Young rider, Young Horse, HOY awards, and Premium Mare awards.
Conformation: Minnie is a modern, compact and athletic warmblood, just like her parents. Minnie’s conformation will enable her to take to ‘life under saddle’ with willingness and acceptance.
Movement and temperament: In the article ‘Foal to FEI’ Maryanna Haymon, who has been breeding warmbloods for 27 years, says that dressage standouts can be spotted at the foal stage. She says that foals with an aptitude for dressage will perform such movements as piaffe half-steps, passage, flying changes, and canter pirouettes as they frolic in the field: “These things are natural to top-level horses when they are babies.”
Haymon also looks for evidence of innate bravery, curiosity, and a desire to interact with humans, all of which, she believes, stoke the work ethic needed for high-level dressage achievement. She likes to see a foal that’s willing to leave its dam’s side to come over, sniff and greet people.
Minnie encompasses these future FEI attributes. She has lovely floating movement and her frolicking shows glimpses of those FEI movements. Minnie’s personality is friendly, curious and confident.
Temperament: Behaviour and handling: Minnie is very easy to catch, lead, wash and rug. She loads, floats well and unloads calmly. Minnie is happily stabled, paddocked on her own or in company. She is confident and is absolutely fine when left on her own if her paddock mates are ridden away. She has had her feet trimmed by the farrier, been vaccinated and wormed.
Feeding and management: Minnie does not require any specific feeding or management. She is currently fed hay and minerals in chaff. She eats anything that is provided.
Medical history: Minnie does not have any medical issues.
Rider Suitability: Minnie is a talented young horse and will require a capable rider when broken in - it is, however, likely that she will be straightforward enough for a junior or amateur.
Reason for sale: Minnie is for sale as her owner’s have expanded their business and realise that they will not have time, in the future, for a young horse.
With Minnie’s intelligence, talent, and willingness to please, she is perfect for someone looking to bring on a lovely, uncomplicated youngster.
