Introduction: Widgee Total Sunrise aka Spencer is a 2-year-old chestnut Warmblood gelding by Advanced Dressage Stallion - Widgee Total Eclipse - out of Silhouette, expected to mature around 16.2hh. Located in Exeter, NSW, he is a striking young horse with plenty of presence and is showing early signs of athletic potential for a future in dressage, showjumping or eventing. He presents as a well-handled young prospect with a trainable temperament and quality breeding.

Education, skills and experience: Spencer has been handled only to date and is ready to be slowly started under saddle. He has been floated multiple times and leads confidently, with a solid foundation of basic handling for his age. While he has not yet commenced ridden work, he presents as a blank canvas for someone looking to produce a quality young horse for an English discipline.

General demeanour under saddle: Spencer is not yet under saddle, however he is described as level-headed, trainable and straightforward to work with. He has no known vices or quirks and appears to have the temperament to progress well with correct education.

Current workload / fitness: As a two-year-old, Spencer is not currently in work and has not yet commenced ridden training.

Handling: Spencer is well mannered on the ground and leads calmly and willingly. He has not been clipped and can occasionally be tricky to catch, however he is easily caught with food and is straightforward once a halter is on.

Behaviour: Spencer has no known behavioural issues or quirks and presents as a sensible young horse with a willing attitude.

Feeding and management: Spencer currently lives on grass only and can be managed in a herd environment. His day-to-day management requirements are straightforward.

Medical history: Spencer has no past or present medical issues. He was last vaccinated on 1 May 2026 for tetanus and Hendra, had his dental completed on 1 February 2025 and is currently barefoot. A vet check is welcome at the buyer’s expense.

Rider Suitability: Spencer is best suited to an experienced rider or home with access to professional training, as he is still unstarted and will require further education. Once broken in, he may suit a young rider, amateur adult or mature rider.
