Kelladee Park Classic

Lewis is a highly accomplished riding pony gelding who is established at Elementary level dressage and forming part of the Champion Primary Dressage Team at Interschool Nationals 2025! He is by Rosedale Eton and Kelladee Park Dark Selection and has only had two owners, since being sold by his breeders. Lewis has been his current rider’s best friend, and dancing partner, for the last four years and he is very, very sadly outgrown.

Education and experience: Lewis is the ultimate dressage pony - with consistent results, rideability and the temperament to teach his next rider. He scored over 69% in both of his National Interschool tests, established at Elementary level and training Medium movements.

Lewis has attended pony club, loves rides at the beach, being ridden bareback and he even jumps up to 60cm! He is the ultimate interschools, pony club, all rounder performance pony.

Lewis is the same at home, as he is at competitions. He is relaxed on trail rides. Lewis also has the looks, conformation and presence to be a fabulous show pony!

General demeanor under saddle: Lewis is responsive and willing performance pony. He is ridden in a snaffle and is light and easy to collect. Lewis is tolerant of rider mistakes and is straightforward enough to be a ‘second pony’ for a young rider or small adult who can canter.

Current workload/ fitness: Lewis is in work 3 times a week and is competing. He does not need to be ridden regularly to be safe and his behaviour is not affected by a spell.

Handling: Lewis is very well mannered on the ground. He is easy to catch, lead and handle - for farrier,  picking out feet, grooming, clipping and washing. Lewis loads into float and truck very easily, stands quietly when travelling and unloads  calmly. He is easy and calm to trim with electric clippers. Lewis is wonderful for the vet.

Behaviour: Lewis is 100% safe - he does not buck, pigroot, bolt or rear. He is very calm, quiet and reliable. Lewis is not concerned by dogs or other pets. He may have a small, uneventful spook if something jumps out of the bushes at him, but then he moves on calmly and straight away. He doesn’t spook unless there is a legitimate reason and he is a very calm and settled pony! When indoors, he may be more alert but is still completely safe.

Feeding and management: Lewis is fed a simple diet appropriate for his size and workload.

Medical history: Lewis is 100% sound and without issues, his owner welcomes any vet check, xrays, scans and blood tests.

Rider Suitability: Lewis is the perfect ‘second pony’ for a rider who can canter. He has been owned by his current rider for the last four years, since she was 8 years old. He will adjust to his rider, doing as little or as much as he is asked. Lewis is willing, without being forward.

Ideal home: would be a junior rider or a small adult, who wants to enjoy and love a straightforward and extremely well educated pony. He is a delight and deserves to be spoilt and loved!

Reason for sale: Lewis’s rider has well and truly outgrown him and knows that he has so much to give and teach his next rider.
