Introduction: Treelea Park Elite, known as “Jack,” is a stunning 12-year-old 14.2hh gelding who is the ultimate allrounder for a rider wanting to compete and have fun. With his elegant movement, handsome black/brown colour and extensive show and dressage record, Jack offers the perfect balance of talent, temperament and versatility. He is in show condition and ready to start the season.
Education, skills and experience: Jack is extremely well educated and has enjoyed a very successful show career, with many Champions at local level and multiple Royal appearances, including a placing at the 2025 Canberra Royal. More recently, he has competed and placed in Preliminary and Novice Dressage, demonstrating his versatility across disciplines.
Dressage/ Showing: Jack has a solid flatwork education and produces consistent, competitive tests. He works willingly, is tolerant of rider mistakes and is happy to step into the dressage arena or the show ring. He works in a consistent frame when ridden correctly. He is genuine and always tries to please.
Showjumping & Pleasure Riding: Jack enjoys popping over small jumps such as cavalettis and cross rails and loves a canter on a trail ride. He is happy to mix up his work and thrives on variety.
General demeanor under saddle: Jack is non-reactive unless something major happens and is very forgiving to ride. At bigger shows or after a spell, he benefits from a short five-minute lunge to help him relax, though he is still safe to ride without this. Like most horses, he may occasionally call out for his paddock mate but he always remains willing to do his job.
Current workload/ fitness: Jack is currently in work and ridden three or more times per week.
Handling and general behaviour: Jack is easy to catch and handle, leads calmly, self-loads, travels well, and is easy to clip, wash, shoe and manage. He is tolerant of handler mistakes and is a pleasure to have around the stable.
Feeding and management: Jack is fed Rhodes hay and receives one hard feed per day including Extra Cool, lucerne chaff, Copra, Equilibrium and Mag E. His management is flexible and he is happy in a herd environment.
Medical history: Jack doesn’t have any issues that affect his performance - for his full medical history please see the Owner’s Response Document in his portfolio. He is up to date with vaccinations (June 2025), dental (July 2025) and farrier care. Vet checks are welcome at the buyer’s expense.
Tack and gear: Jack is worked in a snaffle at home and for dressage. He has a pelham or double when showing.
Rider Suitability: Intermediate Rider defined as someone who has been riding and competing regularly for at least three years, with independent hands and a balanced seat.
Reason for sale: Offered for sale as his owners are focusing on higher-level dressage, and Jack is too small for their program.
