This is an extremely rare opportunity to purchase a true child’s/ family pony that is young enough and educated enough to take a child from raw beginner through to competitive child rider.

History: Tiara was purchased for her current family of four children in 2015. All four children have enjoyed Tiara since they were beginners.

Education: Tiara has competed at Ag Shows, pony club, attended clinics, jumps, swims, been ridden bareback and doubled.

Behaviour under saddle: Tiara is unflappable and used to the day to day nonsense of farm life, tractors, trucks, dogs and kids, She is unphased by busy roads and shows. 

Tiara has a soft mouth, is responsive without being reactive and is willing without being forward.

Handling: Tiara is good to catch, wash, groom, saddle, bridle, float, truck and is well behaved for the farrier. She will tie up all day and is handled independently by children. Not marey, no vices. Sound and ready to go.

Medical and management: Tiara has PPID (Cushings) which requires daily medication, exercise and grazing management. Tiara’s owner is a vet and is happy to discuss this. She will only be sold to a family who is willing and able to manage.

Rider suitability: Beginner defined as someone who has been  riding for less than a year, is sometimes unbalanced and unsure/ nervous. Needs a very  forgiving, experienced schoolmaster.

Reason for sale: Tiara has been owned by the same family for over ten years and has taught all four of their children to ride. She loves being part of everything and misses being ridden. If we can find a fabulous home for her, we will sell her. If we don’t, she will stay with her current family forever.
