Wanted: Dressage schoolmaster for a junior rider

Budget: $60k (uo to $80k for a flawless top level juniors horse)

Preferable location: Australian wide

Preferred height : 15.3-17hh

Preferred age: 9-13 years old

Preferred gender: gelding

Goal: to compete to Interschool National level in Novice dressage and combined training (minimum 60cm)

Rider suitability: For competant 15 year old

Necessary attributes: 

• Must be competing novice level plus with movement.

• Must have some jumping ability (minimum 60cm) but we are NOT looking for a showjumper or eventer.

• Must be safe to ride with friends on trails and roads.

• Horse will be a seasoned competitor/ schoolmaster type; preferably with results with a junior rider.

• Priority is that the horse will be kind, fun and competitive. 

• No buck, bolt, rear or anything dangerous or challenging. We are absolutely NOT looking for anything that presents a challenge or issues.

• Quirks are ok as are changes on X-rays that don’t affect performance, handling or rideability.

• No medical issues or injuries that affect performance, will be thoroughly vetted.

Wanted: Eventer or potential eventer for capable adult amateur 

Budget: Strictly $40k and under

Location: Victoria preferred, will travel within 2 hours of capital cities in other states.

Height : 16.2hh and over

Age: 4 to 9 years old

Breed: Any

Goal: to eventually compete at 1* level/ medium dressage

Rider suitability: For competent rider who has been out of the saddle for 18 months

Necessary attributes: 

• Must be competing at some level

• Must show jumping and dressage ability  

• Must be safe to ride on trails and roads.

• Must be safe after a spell.

• Must be easy to handle, sane and sound. 

• No buck, bolt, rear or anything dangerous, needs management or is challenging.

• Changes on X-rays are ok, as long as they don’t affect performance, handling or rideability.

• No medical issues or injuries that affect performance, will be thoroughly vetted.

Wanted: Showjumper for a junior rider

Budget: Maximum $15k

Preferable location: Australian wide (Queensland preferred)

Preferred height : 15hh - 16.2hh max

Preferred age: under 18 years old (also open to young safe horse)

Goal: to jump 80cm to 105 in the future

Rider suitability: For competant 12 year old boy

Necessary attributes: 

• Must be competing 80cm 

• Must be able to compete to at least 105 as rider progresses

• Must be safe to ride with friends on trails and roads.

• Priority is that the horse will be kind, fun and competitive. 

• No buck, bolt, rear or anything dangerous or challenging. 

• Quirks are ok as are changes on x-rays that don’t affect performance.

• No medical issues or injuries that affect performance, will be thoroughly vetted.

Wanted: Dressage  Horse with FEI potential

Budget: $60k

Preferable location: Eastern states

Preferred height : 16hh plus

Preferred age: 7-14 years old

Breed: WB

Goal: to train and compete the horse at FEI level

Rider suitability: For confident and experienced rider, will live in absolute luxury and have the best of everything.

Necessary attributes: 

• Must be competing at Medium level or above

• Horse must be willing, immediate changes on aid, have own engine, sharp

• Quirks are ok as are changes on X-rays that don’t affect performance

• No medical issues or injuries that affect performance, will be thoroughly vetted

• Prefer Victorian location  but will travel to view

• $40-60k budget depending on horse

Wanted: Dressage / Show Horse for an amateur

Budget: $50k

Preferable location: Eastern states

Preferred height : 15.3-17hh

Preferred age: 7-10 years old

Breed: WB or WB x

Goal: To compete to medium level dressage and National level showing; must also be safe and straightforward to trail ride.

Rider suitability: Capable  amateur who has had a few years off riding

Necessary attributes: 

• Horse must be competing a minimum of novice level and must be safe and reliable for an amateur rider to handle and compete. No vices/ separation anxiety. Must be happy to be left tied to the float at competitions. 

•  Horse must have current video, will be thoroughly reference and vet checked. Must have clean X-rays. 

• No wall eyes, long backs or big ‘barrels’.

•  Location - happy to travel to Victoria, NSW and SA.
